Too Much of a Good Thing

Monday, August 13th 2007, Wake up time: 9:50am

I started the morning watching more Upstairs/Downstairs. Bev had got the entire first season, and it had been hard to fit in the episodes before the DVD had to be returned, so she was pushing us to watch them! It was a really good show, but you can get sick of something if you have too much of a good thing.

I had a Roast Beef sandwich with cheese and barbecue sauce for lunch (I'm going to stop telling people, it's always basically the same!) I played some Condition Zero until Bev was ready to go with me to send off my camera (as the man who could do something about it was back.) We sent it off to be repaired and then came home.

Claire needed some new clothes and so did I, so Bev, Claire and I went shopping. I got some new jeans for $20 and a shirt for $13. I also picked up another top for $16, with tax, the total price was $49.97. We then headed to the shoe store (the whole area went round in a semi-circle shape, with lots of different shops!) and Claire needed new shoes. I helped picked out some with her and she was very happy.

We made a stop at Panera Bread and I had a Frozen Caramel lolly. We then headed home and watched some television. What did we watch? That's right, Upstairs/Downstairs. I had some dinner of burgers with cheese and barbecue sauce. We then sat down to watch more Upstairs/Downstairs. By this point, I wasn't paying too much attention and found it rather dull. I was watching it for the sake of it, which was a shame because it was quite good. Bev served up some lemon cake as a desert, and we ate in front of the last Upstairs/Downstairs episode for the evening. After the episode was finished, I tidied up and cleaned the kitchen before retiring to bed. At this rate, I was going to experience déjà vu because of so much routine!

Thanks for listening.
