They Could Have Warned Us...

Saturday, August 18th 2007, Wake up time: 11:15am

I woke up and the first thing I did was wrap Eben's present as he was having his birthday party and we were going bowling! We left for Eben's party and I met his friends Dennis and Jeremy. We bowled and then had pizza and pie with ice-cream on the side.

While eating we watched a Little League game on television... essentially kids playing baseball. I found it really dull to watch but we did anyway. Eben then opened his presents and we bowled again and finally left for home.

Once I got home, I played some Red Alert 2 and then had yet more pizza (home made though!) After this, Bev gave me my allowance (only $10 as I'd bought the t-shirt) and I went with her on some errands as I needed some stuff too. We went to the bank first and then to CVS as I needed some deodorant, shampoo and some cleansing facial wash (I'm apparently a girl now.)

We got home, and we watched the film 'Harlem Nights' that we'd rented as it had both Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy...they could have warned us it was so rude. We assumed it would be an amusing comedy but it was rather adult. In the first scene, the word 'motherfucker' was used at least eighteen times. I didn't care one bit but Bev and Ralph were not happy and didn't continue watching. I sat by myself and watched it alone...but I still enjoyed it a lot! After the film was over, we sat down and had some ice-cream and then I headed off to bed.

Thanks for listening.
