Friday, 10th August 2007, Wake up time: 10:55am
I woke up and had a strange breakfast of waffles and then some Clam Chowder. I then did the dishes as part of my weekly kitchen duty, as I hadn't bothered the night before. Our plan for the day was to go to the Butterfly Farm with Lyle's Grandma. We headed out and picked her up. We then went to the butterfly farm.
They gave us a little guide for us to try and spot the different species of butterflies. There were so many! The place wasn't too large but it was quite hard spotting each different type. We managed to cross quite a few of them off, and they were so beautiful in the environment. Due to time and also the heat, we soon gave up on trying to get them all! We dropped off Grandma on the way home and then went to have some Eskimo Pie, which is delicious!
We got home and watched some episodes of Friends before dinner. Dinner was pasta with sauce. Ralph wanted to play a ping-pong tournament. We set it up and played a few rounds between Claire, Lyle, Ralph and I. We then played a game of pictionairy, which is where you attempt to draw a word to have somebody guess it. Our team lost though! After our games evening, we had some ice-cream for desert and I then finished up by doing my usual cleaning of the dishes for the evening.
