This is a Knife

Friday, July 13th 2007, Wake up time: 7:10am (Friday the 13th! :o )


I woke up early and came down and watched Crocodile Dundee while I waited for people to get up. This is easily one of the best films from my childhood, and it never gets old! Favourite scene of all time...

We watched the rest of Schindler's List...unbelievably sad film! :( When it was over, I noticed the weather had cooled a little so we went outside to do some weeding. Lyle and I got some done but it was still pretty hot! We came inside for some ham sandwiches and then Lyle suggested we watch The Pink Panther. It's one of his favourite films and I hadn't seen it, so it seemed a great idea. It isn't a bad film, but I was pretty tired. Do nothing + heavy heat makes you sleepy and I inevitably dozed off.


I woke up and had a snack. It was the late afternoon, and quite cool, so Lyle and I went outside and weeded and then trimmed the hedges. We came inside and watched some of The Simpsons and then dinner was ready. We had meatball sandwiches, (sounds gross, actually lovely) and then we went back to the living room. Grandma showed us an old video tape of when she was on a game show. It was so cool! It was called The Connecticut Lottery. We then watched a couple more game shows, 1 Against the Mob (which is our version of 1 vs 100) and Standoff. 


After we'd finished watching those, I headed up to bed, glad I'd done something productive today!
