Thrift Store

Monday, October 8th 2007, Wake up time: 11:15am


It may seem strange that I woke up so late, but we had the day off from school, as it was a three day weekend. I had made plans to hang out with Virginia, Courtney, Ryan and Desi. There was a Halloween dance coming up and we were getting appropriate attire for it. I actually didn't go in the end, but I got some cool clothes! I got to Ryan's house, and saw his awesome dog! I got a free bag of skittles to keep my stomach satisfied. 


We headed to Kendall Sq. We stopped off at Starbucks first, where I had my usual iced Frappacino and a blueberry muffin. I rarely can afford Starbucks, not sure where I got all this money from! We headed to the garment district. We shopped around for a long while looking for a costume for each of us. Virginia and I went down to the thrift section of this really cool store. You can pick out like a bag of clothes and get them wicked cheap. I got this really crazy purple jumper...and some other crap which I have never worn and will never wear :). 


We finally headed to the food court, after much clothes shopping. I personally think clothes shopping is dull, but I was with three women and a homosexual, so basically the typical people who love clothes shopping! When we got to the food court, I had pizza, surprise surprise. We got the train home and I said goodbye to everyone. I then looked in my bag at the random crap I'd bought. I think I was excited, half the stuff was awful! 


On arriving home, I used most of the afternoon to...nope, not do homework. I just hung out with Lyle and we just chilled out. I did read some more of 'The Green Mile' so that was something mildly productive. It was dinner time, which was roast chicken and potato. I then got on with cleaning up the kitchen. Far too busy to do homework! I then did eventually get on with one major piece of homework I had. It was my history thesis as we were doing a paper and a thesis is just the main argument which you're making throughout. After the hard work of sorting out how to word my thesis ;) I played some Oblivion for the rest of the evening! Quite a fun day all round!
