Sunday, October 7th 2007, Wake up time: 10:45am
I started the morning by reading more of 'The Green Mile'. I cleaned and sorted the table as we had guests coming for brunch. The brunch guest arrived, a friend of Bev's...her name was Chung Hais. We had some French toast and I also enjoyed a bagel, some muffins, a bowl of fruit, two sausages and a slice of pumpkin pie. I finished it off with something called 'impossible pie.' It's named this because when you make it, you look at it and think "how will this mess of ingredients ever make a pie?!" I felt a little ill after all that food, but I sure do wish I could eat like that!
We went to play in a kick ball game in the neighbourhood, which we lost! :( The final score being 21-15. I came home and cleaned the kitchen after that delicious brunch. I watched some television, there was a film on called 'Men of Honour' to pass the time. I hardly remember what happened though. I then began sorting out my homework. I decided to go to Sweet Sues to do my homework, as it was quiet and I could have a snack while working hard! However, to my dismay, I found it to be closed. I did do my English on a grassy hill nearby, before heading home.
I called Alex, and then walked around with him for a bit...and got some Orangina to drink. I then came home, and did nothing apart from laze around, hey I'd done one piece of homework! I had some pizza for dinner, and ate it while watching a rugby game. Rugby is a real sport, unlike American Football, and it was the world cup games (albeit not live). I wanted to watch something that I could really relate to from back home. It was New Zealand vs France in the quarter finals and France won 18-20! i watched a couple more over the coming weeks, whenever Ralph stumbled upon them on television. England actually made it to the final against South Africa! Regrettably, England lost 6 to 15. Mira...you won, you can stop bragging now!
I called Ryan up, and we had a good chat on the phone. I then passed the rest of the evening by playing Oblivion on Lyle's new Xbox 360, and then getting down to doing my usual chore of cleaning the kitchen. Quite a lazy day, but that's what Sundays are for! How can I be expected to work, when I was so full of food?
Thanks for listening.
