New Baby!

Saturday, September 1st 2007 (Labour Day), Wake up time: 8:30am


We woke up early, as we were going to visit Stephen and Erica as she had given birth to her baby! It was Labour Day, which is just a national holiday, so Ralph had the day off. I had cinnamon and spice oatmeal for breakfast. After getting our stuff together, we left for Connecticut. On the way, there was seriously heavy traffic and I got hungry, so I had a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich to sustain me. 


We finally arrived at Grandma's house after the long wait and I met Gary and Nancy, Stephen's parents, Gary being Ralph's brother and Nancy his wife. We also saw Josh again and of course Grandma. We hung out and talked about Nancy's dogs that she has at home while eating peanuts and drinking coke. We hung out for the afternoon and didn't do very much until dinner was ready. 


Dinner was clam chowder, some lobster and corn! It was not as tasty as the restaurant as it was processed differently, but it was still delicious! After dinner, we left for Stephen and Erica's house. We arrived and saw the new baby, her name was Miley! She was one of the cutest babies I've ever seen! We ooed and awwed over the baby before having some ice-cream cake. After the cake, I got to sit and hold the baby. It was so cute, and I loved the way it held my finger with it's little hand. 


I let Erica have the baby back before going to play Uno Attack with Claire and Zoe...which I lost miserably at. It was still a fun game though. We then returned to Grandma's house (as we were staying over) and had some cookies with milk and some cold roast chicken (odd combination I know) before retiring to bed.
